Hai Van Pass, the most breathtaking pass in central Vietnam
The motorbike tour from Da Nang to Hue today will show you one of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam. Our motorbike tour will show you the best stunning view of mountains, beaches, and waterfalls as well as Vietnam's culture and history. We leave Da Nang early in the morning to Marble Mountain where you can explore the cave, sculptures, and pagoda. The next stop we will visit Linh Ung pagoda which is one of the unique pagodas in Da Nang, take a short walk to the pagoda to see the 67 meters of Lady Buddha and look over Da Nang city and the ocean.
We will ride through Hai Van Pass where you will be surrounded by clouds with stunning ocean views. The Hai Van Pass which means “Sea of Cloudy Pass”, is where you will be surrounded by clouds with stunning ocean views, we can admire the beautiful panorama, and enjoy a number of the most glorious landscapes in Vietnam. There is an old French bunker at the top of the Hai Van Pass, which we also climb to visit, this bunker was built during the French colonial period in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, these bunkers served as a strategic military post. Positioned at the top of Hai Van Pass, they allowed the French to monitor movement along this critical route between North and South Vietnam. During the Vietnam War, both the French and American forces utilized the bunkers as observation posts due to the vantage point provided by the Hai Van Pass. In this pass where you can admire the beautiful panorama, and enjoy the most glorious landscapes in Vietnam. Having lunch at the local restaurant next to the beach we will continue to Dream Waterfall where you can relax and swim. Dream Stream known as “ Suoi Mo” is a hidden gem located near Lang Co Beach, this serene spot is nestled in the mountains just a few kilometers from the main coastal area of Lang Co Beach. Known for its lush green surroundings, crystal-clear waters, and cascading waterfalls, Suoi Mo provides a peaceful escape for those seeking nature, tranquility, and adventure.
Then we continue to visit the Tam Giang lagoon, where we will visit the fishing village and walk around to see how they live and work in their daily life before arriving in Hue around 4 to 5 pm.

The old Royal Kingdom of the Nguyen Dynasty
Today we will have a relaxing day to explore the city and countryside of Hue, a city located in central Vietnam along the banks of the Perfume River ( Sông Hương), is a city rich in history, culture, and charm. We will leave at 8: 30 am to start our trip to the imperial city of Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), Hue is known for its well-preserved heritage sites, elegant pagodas, and peaceful landscapes. The Imperial City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, serves as the centerpiece of Hue, showcasing grand palaces, temples, and gates that reflect the grandeur of Vietnam's last dynasty.
After visiting the Imperial, we will take a short ride in the city to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, a seven-story landmark along the Perfume River. This is one of the most important and picturesque Buddhist sites in Hue. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance, explore the historic grounds, and learn about the pagoda’s history and its connection to local folklore. Beyond its historical significance, Hue is also known for its serene royal tombs, including those of Emperors Tu Duc, Khai Dinh, and Minh Mang, each with unique architecture and beautiful surroundings. We will visit The Khai Dinh Tomb and Tu Duc Tomb after the temple. We will come back to our hotel take some rest and continue our journey on the boat through the Perfume River (Huong River) for 50 minutes to enjoy the serene beauty and cultural charm of the city. This evening excursion is often accompanied by traditional Hue folk music, creating an atmospheric journey against the backdrop of the river and illuminated landmarks. On this cruise, you’ll be treated to live Ca Hue performances, a traditional folk music genre that originated in Hue. Musicians and singers, dressed in traditional attire, perform using unique instruments like the Đàn Tranh (zither) and Đàn Bầu (monochord), sharing stories of love, nature, and Hue’s history. After the cruise, we will have free time to explore the night market and enjoy dinner near the river bank.

Riding through the suspension bridge in the village
The motorbike route today from Hue to Phong Nha National Park is a scenic and adventurous journey through Vietnam's lush countryside, historical sites, and small villages. This route, which spans approximately 210 km long but we will take time to explore along the way will make it even more enjoyable.
Depart at 8:30 am, we will head north of Hue on Highway 1A, we will make a stop at the Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River. Hien Luong Bridge is a historic landmark that spans the Ben Hai River in Quang Tri Province, central Vietnam, the bridge is famously known as the former dividing line between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Following the Geneva Accords of 1954, the Hien Luong Bridge was designated as the demilitarized zone (DMZ), splitting Vietnam at the 17th parallel. The bridge marked the boundary between the communist North and the anti-communist South. This division remained until the fall of Saigon in 1975, marking the end of the Vietnam War and the beginning of reunification.
Continuing across the former border between North and South Vietnam at the 17th parallel, we arrive at the Vinh Moc tunnel, a network of underground tunnels where residents lived to escape bombings during the war. Keep going to the eastern branch of the Ho Chi Minh trail to Phong Nha-Khe Bang National Park.

Exploring the caves in Phong Nha
Today we will have a whole day to explore the caves, enjoy nature, and see the beautiful sunset at the rice field in Phong Nha National Park without riding a lot of kilometers.
With a day free to explore Phong Nha National Park, we will have a few hours in the dark cave for some activities. Dark Cave is a branch of the Phong Nha cave system with 5,558m long and 80m high, the entry of the cave is 30m high and 10m wide with heavy forest around the cave mouth. Dark Cave was discovered in the years of anti-America resistance war by local people and used as a bomb shelter, it is a must-visit place when we come to Phong Nha. Unlike other caves that are artificially lit, this cave is mostly dark, the Dark Cave entrance is hidden beneath lush foliage. Thus, it is only accessible via a steep, rocky path that meanders through the forest.
To see the way, we need to use headlamps or torches while exploring Dark Cave. You can see the vast chambers and tunnels illuminated only by the faint glow of their headlamps. The cave is also located on the site of the river called Chay River, which originates from deep inside the mountains. The area is surrounded by spectacular limestone mountains and verdant forests, providing a refreshing and tranquil ambiance. Most activities that you are going to do today are kayaking going through the caves then immersing yourself in the mud bath and taking a walk to explore the cave. Zipline is also on our part our a trip which you can join a bit adventurous and take time to swim at the beautiful river.
After all these morning activities we will take lunch on the way to another caves. In the afternoon we will take another trip to the magnificent Paradise limestone cave, the second-longest wet limestone cave in the world, and then trek through this amazing old-growth rainforest, you can choose to take an electric car or walk around 3 km to the cave and explore it.
After finishing our cave trips, we will ride a few kilometers through the Phong Nha National Park and enjoy the green nature in this marvelous park. On the way back our guide will stop at the time of sunset to relax and take some pictures here then we will ride back to our hotel.

Mountain road in Khe Sanh
The motorbike tour today from Phong Nha to Khe Sanh brings us a thrilling route that follows part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail through Vietnam’s remote and scenic central region. This route provides an immersive experience through natural landscapes, historic sites, and local villages.
The route takes us through an old-growth jungle, with stunning waterfalls and beautiful landscapes. We will visit Van Kieu’s ethnic village to observe how these people survive in one of the most remote places in Vietnam. Stop for lunch in a local town or roadside eatery along the route, where you can enjoy a simple but hearty Vietnamese meal. continue to ride through Bong Lai Valley, a beautiful rural area dotted with farms and local homes. This is a peaceful area perfect for stopping to appreciate the scenery and take a few photos.
The journey will take us along the banks of the Son River, through rice paddies, farmland, and past local farmers. Along the way, you will learn about the background history of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, a historic network of supply routes that played a crucial role during the Vietnam War (1955-1975). Stretching (approximately 1,600 kilometers, it connected North Vietnam to South Vietnam, facilitating the movement of troops, weapons, and supplies for the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese forces. Enjoy the winding roads, karst landscapes, and thick jungle as you move deeper into the countryside. As we continue toward Khe Sanh, we’ll pass several ethnic minority villages, such as those inhabited by the Van Kieu people. This portion of the trail offers sweeping views of mountains, forests, and rivers, making it ideal for photos and rides toward Khe Sanh.

The Ta Con Combat Base
Leaving Khe Sanh town for a long day ride, we will visit the village of ethnic minority people on the roads to Prao. Exploring along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, we will visit another minority village Co Tu and Pa Co.
After that, we ride through one of the longest and most stunning passes on the Truong Son range, just say Woow with the spectacular jungles, mountains, and the quietness, peace, and amazing views across the famous Dakrong bridge on the Ho Chi Minh Trail before heading to A Luoi town. Over here our guide will tell you about the history of Ta Con military airport ( Khe Sanh Combat Base), where you can see the old helicopters or aircraft. After that, we will ride toward Prao, a route that offers spectacular mountain views, winding roads, and stretches of the Ho Chi Minh trail.

The legend of Ho Chi Minh Road in Truong Son range
It is not a long distance today for Da Nang, we will have more time to rest and depart at 9: 00 am after breakfast. Again another day with our beautiful journey along Ho Chi Minh Road, which is known for its picturesque mountain views and winding roads. The route will take us through lush green valleys and dense forests, enjoy the fresh air and stunning landscapes on the back of our motorbike drivers.
Stop for lunch at a roadside restaurant or a local eatery along Highway 14B. Enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine such as Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich) or Pho (noodle soup). After lunch, continue your journey toward Da Nang, the road remains scenic, with rolling hills and beautiful landscapes. We arrive at Da Nang around 3 pm and finish our 7-day unforgettable motorbike journey.
