After breakfast, if it’s Sunday, we’ll visit Dong Van Market, where ethnic people like the H’mong, Dao, and Tay sell colorful local goods, offering a true glimpse of northern Vietnam life.
We then ride along one of the most scenic mountain passes for about 30 km to Lung Cu village. Climb to the 30-meter-tall Lung Cu Peak monument, where a giant Vietnamese flag flutters above and panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys await. Next, we journey through Lo Lo village and reach the border between Vietnam and China, where the Nho Que River marks the boundary between the two countries.
Returning to Dong Van for lunch, we continue to explore the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the four greatest passes on the Truong Son range. After exploring the market, we’ll continue our Ha Giang Loop motorbike tour by riding back to the Nho Que River for a scenic one-hour boat trip, offering breathtaking views of the river carving through the majestic limestone mountains. The journey continues through Meo Vac village with several stops to capture the stunning landscape and take memorable photos.
We’ll finish the day in Du Da village, checking into a comfortable hotel where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy the swimming pool after a full day on the road.

After lunch, we continue along breathtaking mountain roads lined with terraced rice fields and lush valleys, passing through small villages where you’ll experience the culture of Tay, Nung, and H’Mong communities. Eventually, we reach Trung Khanh district and approach the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of Southeast Asia’s most spectacular waterfalls and a natural border between Vietnam and China.
