Cu Chi Tunnel
The highlight of this last day is the Cu Chi tunnel, a historical area that shows how the North Vietnamese army was against the American and South Vietnamese army during the Vietnam War. The tunnel located in the Cu Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City, is a vast underground network used by Viet Cong soldiers ( North Vietnam Comunism - VC) during the Vietnam War. Stretching over 250 kilometers, the tunnels played a crucial role as a hiding spot, supply route, and communication channel. The tunnel also contained living quarters, kitchens, storage rooms, and even hospitals, making them a self-sustained underground community. It was designed with multiple levels and narrow passages to prevent enemy penetration, and it had air vents camouflaged to resemble termite mounds for ventilation. The Viet Cong soldiers could emerge, attack, and disappear back into the tunnels, evading detection, some sections were even booby-trapped for added defense.
During the visit to the tunnel, you can try to get into the tunnel by crawling 15 meters, 30 meters, or more if possible, or shutting the gun ( optional activity). Then have lunch and keep going to the countryside road through the rice field to My Tho town.

Doing a boat trip in Can tho flooding market
One of the highlights for our last day is to visit the Cai Rang floating market, we will wake up early and do the boat trip at 5 am. It is a fantastic way to experience the vibrant river culture of the Mekong Delta.
As our boat navigates through the crowded waterways, you'll see vendors on larger boats selling goods to smaller boats filled with local shoppers. Boats display their goods on poles (like bananas, pineapples, watermelon, etc,.) so buyers know what’s for sale. Enjoying the boat ride, we will have our breakfast on the boat by buying some breakfast from the smaller boats which offer hot meals like pho, sticky rice, and Vietnamese coffee. These floating eateries add to the bustling, colorful atmosphere and are a great way to enjoy an authentic breakfast right on the river. After breakfast, we will walk down the boat to the local market to visit the colorful activities in the morning and visit the rice paper-making, and noodle workshops. These add-ons give you a broader view of life in the Mekong Delta and local production.
Going back to our boat and visiting the fruit garden where people sell to tourists what they grow inside their garden, we have time to enjoy our fresh fruit and walk around their farm.
